For teachers with their own students
Just you and your student.
A warm room to teach in, a schedule that looks after itself, and the money coming to you. We never take a cut of a lesson, and we never stand between you and a family.
Built for private tutors — and it works exactly the same for a music teacher, a language coach, or anyone who teaches a person rather than a room.

What it does from the first day
All of this is built and working. Nothing here is a plan.
-
You are both on the same page
Video and a whiteboard side by side. Write, draw, drop in a photo of a worksheet. Nothing is wiped at the end of a lesson — next week you both open the same board, with last week’s work still on it.
-
Your schedule looks after itself
Every Tuesday, or every other week. Students in another time zone. A week off at spring break. Call off a single lesson without disturbing the rest — and every parent is emailed.
-
However you charge, it fits
$40 a lesson. $50 an hour. The same amount every month. You set yours up in plain words — including a lower price for one student, or for a child who comes twice a week.
Your student never makes an account
Their lesson is a private link. That is the whole of it — whether they are seven or seventy.
- × No password to forget at four o’clock
- × No app to install, on any device
- × No address, no photograph, no recording — ever
my1on1.com/lesson?t=…
Send it once. It works every week, on a phone, a tablet or an old laptop — and it drops the lessons straight into their calendar, or a parent’s.
Teachers invite teachers
There is no sign-up form, and that is on purpose. Every teacher here holds a few invitations to give away, and somebody gave one to them.
So if a tutor you know already uses My1on1, ask them — it takes them one tap, and the invitation arrives by email. It means everyone who turns up was vouched for by somebody who teaches.
Bills that chase themselves
The part nobody enjoys, and the reason My1on1 exists rather than a video call and a notebook. It is being built now.
The bill goes out
In your name, in your words, with your prices already on it.
A gentle reminder
“If it is already on its way, please ignore this.” Never a demand.
You hear first
Nothing is ever paused without telling you and the family what will happen, and when.
